The village of Mostovo is located in a mountainous area and lies in the Rhodope hill Dobrostan. It is located 27 km from the town of Asenovgrad. We start in the direction of Kardzhali and after the village of Cherven we turn right. The villages of Gornoslav and Oreshets follow. In the middle of the Yurta area there is a sign indicating a picturesque asphalt road. After about 1 km you reach the area of the Bad Tikla.
From there there is a beautiful view of Krastov Vrah 1418 m (3 km southwest) and the village of Mostovo. The village of Mostovo is located in the middle of an energy triangle - Krastova Gora (1418 m), Belintash (1226 m) and Karadjov Kamak (1448 m). There are 6 neighborhoods around the village. Some of them are no longer inhabited, while others have become attractive destinations for rural tourism.
The names of the neighborhoods are Chukata, Korjuvtsi, Kabata (village), Ryakata, Vrata (village) and Chotrovtsi. The river Sushitsa (Mostovska Sushitsa) passes through the village. Over the years, the river has built a natural bridge over which the road to the village passes. There are several large caves around the village: Gargina Dupka (524 m long), Vodnata Cave (455 m), Troitsata (141 m) and others.
The population since the last census is 67 people and the altitude is 922 m.
